I know it's been a while that I gave you an update on grandma, but for the last weeks there haven't been any. Until last thursday that is, since she got released from the hospital and is now back at home. :)
The doctors have no idea what was wrong with her, according to them she's in perfect health (well as perfect as you can be when you're 80 ;) ) and so there was no reason for her to stay in hospital any longer. It probably had to something with her water supply, meaning, she doesn't drink a lot. In hospital they kinda "forced" her to drink more...and it seems like she got the hint and is actually drinking about 1 liter per day now. (Yep, "only" one..so you can imagine what she drunk before.) Even here at home.
Of course, she's still a bit weak and she doesn't trust herself to climb up stairs (which is no problem since she lives ground floor) but otherwise she's fine.
So well.. thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and words. They meant (and still mean) a lot to me. :D

Okay, here is a small update on grandma.
My aunt visited her today (we decided that we would rotate, since she's on ICU) and my grandma recognized her immediately. She still can't breath on her own, though the doctors decrease the machine step by step...but for now she's not breathing enough on her own.
She understood everything they told her...(they told her that she flew with a helicopter and such things) but she couldn't remember that, which is normal I think. Most of the time you can't remember such things when you were out...so to say.
They still have no idea what caused the whole situation...my dad thinks it probably has to do something with her blood pressure, but no one knows for sure.
All we know is, that she's scared..a lot. Not so long ago she told my cousin that she's very afraid of death..and now waking up in a hospital with something in your throat..certainly didn't help, that's for sure.
But for now I'm just happy that she recognized my aunt (her daughter) so there hopefully won't be any brain damage...
Thank you all for your support, I'll keep you updated.

This time it's me who is asking for your thoughts and prayers.
This morning my mom found my grandma in the dining room, unconscious...they transported her to the hospital....and no one knows what's wrong with her. She'd never been ill...she's 80 years old...
the doctors say it looks pretty bad...
I'm sorry if the sentences doesn't make any sense..I'm still shocked..
